I used to be such a bookworm but as life got busier the books were the first thing I put down. I’ve been trying my best to read a book every month starting in April with the Host by Stephanie Meyer which is one of my favorite novels. This month was Silver Linings Playbook by Matthew Quick because I was intrigued by the movie (and let me tell you the book isn’t very much like the movie at all, but both have their merits). Not sure what I wan’t to read for June, and it’s even harder because I like a little bit of everything (dystopian/utopian, urban fantasy and books that have movies tend to be my favorite). I think I’m leaning towards re-reading The Great Gatsby because I’d like to compare it accurately with the movie and because my fiance has an interest in reading it alongside me. The only reason I’m hesitant is that I recall not enjoying it in high school. Undecided. Any suggestions?
